Introduction
The CE Batch Portable Application resides on the handheld device. It sup-
ports physical inventory counting, inventory moves, issues, receipts, and
item check in and item check out. Before you begin using CE Batch Porta-
bles to track your consumable and circulating inventory, you should learn
basic application functions such as opening and closing the application,
syncing portable and workstation application data, viewing collected data
on the batch portable device, and purging data from the batch portable
application. You should also review and set the batch portable application
options before you begin using the batch portable application. This section
reviews the basic batch portable application functions and application
options.
Opening the Batch Portable Application
To open the Check In-Out CE Batch Portable Application on the handheld
device, please refer to the instructions that follow.
1. Power up the portable.
2. Tap Start > Programs on the handheld to view the list of programs
available.
3. The available programs appear. Next, tap the Check In-Out icon to
open the handheld application.
Logging In The Batch Portable Login Screen appears.
